Every once in awhile, for no reason, I get really dizzy. I'm normally sitting down and have been for awhile. I don't know what it is. Grandma said she's got it too, and had tests done but the doctors don't know what it is. So I guess it's genetic. I don't like the way it feels. Ow.

I get that too sometimes. It always feels like the chair I'm sitting on is spiraling downward.

I think the dizzy spells occur when the alien beings are sucking information from our brains so that we can't speak competently, especially over the phone.

actually - I get the same thing. It has to do with your inner ear. Sometimes there is a little infection that screws with your equilibruim - so essentially it is vertigo - but without heights. I've been told that it can happen at anytime with no warning (kind of scary if you drive a lot or operate heavy machinery!) If it persists for more that a few minutes (mine actually disables me from functioning) you can take something called meclezine (active ingredient in dramamine - also known as antivert) - and it should clear up within 30-60 minutes.

(sorry for not running with the alien explaination - but that's what you get from a dr. in training!) Take care - and will probably see you in the near future.

Re:
Yeah, I figured it was inner-ear stuff, but it doesn't last very long and only makes me uncomfortable, not unable to operate machinery, luckily. I wonder if Grandma takes anything for it.

You're probably going to see me in the near future? Do you know something I don't? :)

Re:
That's true! But let me warn you, you'll never want to leave her. Unless it's morning and she's being a spaz. Then she's really annoying.
