I'm so weird. I go through wedding planning cycles. Last weekend I was busy making fifteen million lists about this and that. Now I'm trying hard to get the motivation to call judges and justices of the peace and asking them to marry us. I don't know what to ask or how to go about doing it and it's annoying me. Too bad that guy who I emailed never emailed me back. He must not have been very excited about doing it.

I gave Trout a piece of brussel sprout and she loved it. She's also weird. She takes after her mother.

How about asking friends or people at work if they know of anyone that could perform the ceremony? That way you at least get some recommendation and it's not a complete stranger from the phone book.

Re:
I have a list of people, but I'm kinda picky about the whole religion thing. I want to have some religion in the ceremony because we're both Christians, but I don't want so much religion that the guy who's officiating lectures us for living together. And that didn't answer your question. :) I'll probably ask around at work, but I doubt many people know judges, unfortunately.

I totally understand. We're not very religious ourselves so we didn't want a very religious wedding. One of my good friends dad married us. He's a Pastor for a Nazarene church in Yakima. He kept it very simple it was perfect!

Re:
Ack. I can't remember the name. I remember it was a big unusual building. I can almost remember the street it was on, too...

Re:
Nah. It was at the edge of town I believe. Northwest side, I think. This is killing me! I can't remember!

Ahh... I know the one... it's on 40th, just past Englewood. I think it's called First Church of the Nazarene or something like that. It is an odd shaped building.

Just get someone from the state to do it, no religion, no off the wall long winded ceremonies. Just call up the court house, say "dudes... like I am getting married and I like totally want to know if I can get some of your people to hook up with some of my people and work out an arrangement, say over coffee.. yeah thanks dudes!"

Re:
Hehe
If they liked me talking like that, I don't know if I'd want them officiating. :)

Re:
Well your no fun. :) You get what I mean. Just call the court house and tell em this is what you want. I had someone from the state. She was actually really good and it was a nice ceremony.

Re:
That's what I think I'll do. Or maybe I'll have Cory do it. :)
