OK, I'm hot now. I never seem to notice it until just about bedtime. That's probably because I HATE trying to sleep when I'm hot. Especially with this stupid long hair.

I guess it's time to go set up the fan.

Ooh, stinky. I hate that!

Too bad you're not in Minnesota. It was 80 something today, but we're expecting a thunderstorm tonight so it really cooled off. My windows are all open and my curtains are a-flyin'! It smells great, too. :)

Re:
I remember the thunderstorms in MN - I absolutely adored them. :) I don't know how many times I was awakened by thunder. We don't get 'em like that over here, unfortunately!

Re: The Hair
I didn't realize your hair was so long until I saw the photos you'd posted; for me, a hair tie does wonders. Pile all your locks to the top of your head, twist them into a bun and secure with a festive scrunchy of some kind. Rubber bands are a no-no. Or, may I suggest fun and funky pigtails?

They work for me! Do let me know if you want any more tips. By the way, I sure was peeking at columbia.com and saw some nice miscellaneous hiking boots. Hmm hmm hmm.

Re: The Hair
I'm excited for my hair to get long enough to just braid at night. But for now, as long as I don't toss and turn too much, all I need to do is throw it over the pillow so my neck is bare. Except I tried that last night and my little frizzy baby hairs around my temples blew into my face because of the fan. It tickled.

It's always a comfortable temperature until you want to sleep.

Re:
Why is that, do you think?

Renember the attic fan? I could never sleep until it turned off. And even then I had to have a wet hand towel to put on my belly.

Yeah. I couldn't sleep until it was off, either. I always put a wet washcloth on my forehead.

Re:
Sometimes I put it on my forehead, but I liked to drag it really lightly across my belly too.

We should write down our memories. Cory always says I remember an abnormal amount. :) Would you write in a Haley/Megan community if I made one?
