I am a big fan of getting to work at 6am. Especially when there's not all that much work to do. :)

This weekend was quite productive. I didn't sew as much of my quilt binding as I wanted to, though (and it's not coming out very well either, due to the stupid backing fabric, but that's another story. And probably a boring story, since I'm a bit more hard on my poor quilt than other people would be). Cory designed the CD labels and jewel covers and printed them out, and we got the parking passes ready to go, and had many small grievances over paper weight. Grr. But it all came out nicely.

Fred Willard cracks Cory up like nothing else. It's amusing.

Today Mike is coming over, and we're going to have a wedding meeting and use lots of spray tack stuff and make ourselves high. And have dinner somewhere in there.

Did anybody watch Faerie Tale Theatre when it was on TV?

ok, why did you go to work at 6am?
That means you're not around to make fun of the weddingplans drama with me!!!!

Re:
I can still make fun of it! Are you talking about the language thing? :)

I'm here at 6am because the guy who works the late shift is gone this week, and I'm taking the early shift for today and tomorrow and the early-shift lady is coming in late. And then we switch on Wednesaday.

Ah, so you get off work early too? I'm jealous- though 6am wouldn't be fun for me...

the weddingplans drama- yes, I was talking about the language thing & the post last night. I agree that no one should be calling anything "so gay" and that in a community with so many members people should watch their language. But. C'mon! Where does all the drama even come from? I must not read the comments enough or something cause I never get all upset about weddingplans unless kaugomu starting moaning about her dress or something.

Re:
Yeah, I get off at 2:30, and then we're off to get the marriage license! Yay!

Yeah, I'm not sure why people keep taking things into their own hands. How many times has incognita told people to email her if they have a problem? And if she was so worried about people calling things tacky, why would she say "so gay" in such a tacky way?

I think I may have seen a couple of them, one with Roger Daltrey in it...

I remember them being wonderful, but I'll bet they were pretty awful. :)

Re:
Heh, they were kinda cheesy. :)

Though, Roger Daltrey was a better actor than Mick Jagger. :)

Re:
Roger Daltrey is a far superior actor than Mick, hands down. :)

Heh, you should see how acrobatic he was in "Tommy", and also check out some of The Who's old concert footage. :)

Re: Huffing
Huffing is a good way to get high, from what I've been told. The spray paint color of choice is metallic gold because after you huff, you can take the remnants and spread them over your body like lotion to give yourself a healthy-appearing (but in reality, rather ravaging) skin tone.

Those points aside, don't forget to ask Best Man Mike about the book title!

Thanks thanks thanks!

Re: Huffing
Oh yeah! I have a note on my desk saying "ask Mike about book" but I didn't write who I was supposed to tell about it! :D

Have you checked out theknot.com in regards to your quest for best-man knowledge? They might have some helpful articles...

Re: Huffing
Ooh, good idea! I will check out that website. LesserMegan has let me borrow an older issue of that magazine. Very perty. Thanks for the suggestion!

Re: Huffing
No prob. It's helped me out a lot, if only to remind me that certain things I may have overlooked need to be done. They include a lot of to-dos that don't apply to me though.

Re:
YES! Boy, she's an ugly woman. :D But yeah, she'd introduce them and I think sometimes she was in them as well. And everybody who was an animal dressed up in big furry suits and everything was very colorful.
