Alas, it's supposed to be 80 on Sunday. The one day I'll be out lugging boxes around to help my aunt and uncle and cousins move. Thbbbt.

Yesterday I took apart the two-toned baby blanket I made last month so that I could make a lamb for my coworker's baby. I just need to finish the head and do the legs and tail and then I'm done. I used homespun yarn, so it's really soft and crinkly.

Off at two-thirty again today! Yay!

I love to crochet. We could crochet together. You in your prairie dress and me in my messican wedding dress... or do you knit? I can't do that.

I tried it once and didn't really like it. Crocheting's faster. Only problem is that you can't find any cute clothing patterns to crochet. They're all scary.

but you can make sme badass afghans. i saw some chenille yarn at walmart, but it's like 6 bucks a skein (and the skeins are tiny). that would make such a soft blanket tho.

I made one for my ex's mom when I lived in Minnesota. I used like a Q hook though, so it was more of a soft net than a soft blanket. I prefer homespun - it's a bit more expensive than worsted weight, but it's thicker and softer.
