I'm frustrated with my hair already. It's not spiking out in the back, even with gunk in it. I'm not supposed to be frustrated already, I just got it cut 14 hours ago!

go to the place you got it cut and make the person who cut it fix it!

I'm not sure how it can be fixed, though! They do have a guarantee on their haircuts...

maybe they have a different styling product that will work better :)

Maybe! The stuff she put in didn't do anything last night though. :D

It could also be user error. After all, I haven't had to put gunk in my hair for three years!

I would use just regular hair gel.. just a tiny bit, not enough to make it look all shiney and hard... and then blow dry it, then i'd use hair wax. just a little.

that should make it do what you want.

I didn't try gel. I will try though.

Make sure when you are blow drying, you have a little bit of mousse or gel or root lifter in your hair and blow dry it from underneath so it'll start to stick up. You may have to pull it up hard the first few times you do it.
Remember, your hair is used to hanging down, now you have to train it to stand up on end.

Oh yeah, that's true. I'll just have to play with it and see what happens.
