Halloween Musings...

I'm pretty sure I'll be working noon to close on Halloween. Which means I probably ought to dress up, since several other people will.

It's kind of hard to find a costume that:
* can get dirty
* allows me to wash my hands frequently (no hand makeup)
* doesn't have long sleeves
* isn't uncomfortable
* doesn't mind me sweating (probably not much face makeup either)
* costs next to nothing (if not nothing)
* isn't obsolete underneath an apron

I thought about getting a pink wig, but I think it'd be pretty hot and itchy. I have a Halloween shirt, and I may have to just wear that. Hmm.

Anyone have any ideas?

I think you should be the chef from The Little Mermaid.

I was thinking that I should be:

But since I work in a small business the owner would probably have a fit if I showed up like that. I already got yelled at for mentioning to a customer that Starbucks might have what she wanted since we didn't. ("Why didn't you send her to the Beanery?!" "I told her she could go to the Beanery OR Starbucks! She chose Starbucks!")

you could go as a serving wench! It might be a little risque, but it would work well with the apron :-)

I could! I was trying to think of everything I could do that has an apron - but nothing is striking me as something I'd HAVE to dress up as (I still like my Starbucks idea!) so the Halloween shirt is still sounding like my best bet.
