Ah, full-blown cold now. Coughing up junk, nose full, body feeling hot and cool at the same time, random sweat. Whee.

Should I stay home or take a DayQuil?

The only thing is I need to turn in paperwork for my 401k today, so I have to go! Maybe I'll leave early though.

I hate calling in sick. I don't know why. I think it looks better to go and then leave because I feel like crap. I can play that up pretty well. :)

I do that too sometimes, but I think it's silly.
As long as you're not taking sick days every few weeks people believe you are really sick. And going to work when you're sick just makes other people get sick too and that really sucks.

I'll probably just go in for a few minutes to turn in my 401k papers and then ask if I can go. I'm not sure Dayquil will help as much as sleep will. :)

You can always look at it like you don't want to get everyone else sick...that should make you feel better about not sticking around.

I'm sure your coworkers would appreciate that as well...

Feel better.

Thank you. As soon as I enter a few bills into the computer I'm going to ask if I can go home and sleep. :)
