Ooh, I'm so excited. There's going to be a fire drill at school tonight. I get to go stand out in the cold for ten minutes! Whee!

I finished my Numeric Keyboarding class last week but I came in today to make sure that I had all my assignments turned in. My teacher calculated my grade for me before I left. An A "and then some - you should sell these timed typings - you'd get a ton of money for them from other students!" That was nice to hear.

Because I was done so early, I ran home and watched some of Dawn of the Dead, aired "unedited" (except for the blurred breasts and the muted swear words) on USA. There's a lot of gore. Ook. Now I'm back for law class and the fire drill.

I did, but not because of that - my law classroom is really cold. (They probably do that so nobody falls asleep in class. Heh.)

We have fire drills once a month.

Last month, we had 3 in 20 minutes due to a computer malfunction. What a waste of time!

Ooh, that's annoying. Did you just end up staying at your desk by the third one? :)

I can't. Because I'm a teacher, I need to take the students out every single fire drill. It sucks.

Ugh Fire Drills
After watching various "unedited" films on USA, I have come to assume that this means "less heavily edited than it would be otherwise" but that this is still not exactly what I expected.

Fire drills are teh lame.

Re: Ugh Fire Drills
Yeah, I'm not sure how an unedited movie can still be edited. I must not be up on my TV lingo or something.

When the fire drill happened, it took us forever to get through the one little fire exit door and down the stairs, and when we grouped on the lawn the security guard said "you probably don't want to be there - you're standing right on the gas line." It was very well organized.
