Dec. 5th, 2006

This morning we woke up, dashed around to get ready, and left at about 6:30. I took Cory to work and then took myself to Starbucks, where I waited until the auto repair shop was open at 8. I walked about 30 blocks while I waited for my ride after I dropped the car off (squealing belts and a broken driver's door sensor), and then worked until lunchtime, when I got a call from my landlord wondering where the rent check was. It completely slipped my mind. The car was finished shortly after that so I got a ride back downtown, grabbed the car, paid $85, drove to my landlord's apartment to give her the check, grabbed lunch, and went back to work. 45 minutes later I left again to take Cory to his final and then went back to work.

There was a pretty sunset.

Then I drove to Safeway and got dinner for Cory since he hadn't eaten lunch, and I went home and preheated the oven and made a snack for him to eat in the car on the way home, and I went and picked him up and brought him home and put the pizza in the oven and grabbed my music and went to choir and sang for 2 and a half hours and drove home, during which time I realized I need to call the auto repair place because now my belts are squealing worse than they were before, and now Cory's mad at me because Trout's sick and I told him not to hold her upside down because it's uncomfortable for her. And I'm trying to eat quickly so that I can go to bed and I just made cocoa but I have to go to sleep so I might have to pour it out.

Yeah, I think today was just a fluke. I didn't even realize all there was to do until I got home. Because then I had to make dinner for myself and my husband went to bed while I was eating and when I went to get in bed there was cat puke on the blanket so I had to clean it up, and then there was more on the floor and I stepped in it... it took me awhile to get to bed. :D

So far so good! And finals are over so there will be happy, non-sensitive people in my house tonight! :D

saucy spamming
I've seen a lot of ugly crap that is INTERESTING to see but definitely not saucy... I created nest_lj in the vein of Nest Magazine (retired, if you're familiar).

may I spam it?
