Mar. 25th, 2007

Yesterday Cory and I drove up to see our friend Mike in Lake Oswego. We went out to Manzana for lunch (I had a rotisserie chicken sandwich. Yum!) and Peets for a caffeine fix, and sat on benches outside the coffee shop and talked for awhile. Then we walked back to Mike's and talked a little more before we decided it was time to go our separate ways.

"On the way home" (actually out of our way but that's OK) we went to see the apartment we shared in the north Beaverton area. It looked the same. Woo hoo. Then we tried to find the path of least resistance back to I5 south. 217 south looked icky, so we went 26 to 405 to I5, which was also pretty slow through the tunnel (like always) but cleared out pretty quickly. We stopped at the Woodburn Factory Outlets and I found a tank top and a pair of shoes. Cory didn't find any shoes, though he was looking.

When we got home, we had a light dinner of salad and french bread with olive oil, as we were both still full from the heavy lunch we had. And that was Saturday.

Today I'm mostly just straightening up in anticipation of next Saturday's party. We've been pretty bad at the cleaning thing since we've both been busy with school and work and such, so now the living room is vacuumed and the couch cushion covers are in the washing machine and pretty soon the kitchen will be tackled, and probably the downstairs bathroom too. But I'm taking a break because I can't seem to stop sneezing. It's dusty in here!

OK bye.
