CSA Week 22

CSA Week 22

Leeks
Delicata Squash
Onion
Peppers
Carrots
Black Kale
Potatoes
Huge Carrots
Lettuce

It was our last week of the CSA. I'm sad already. I would love to do it again, but my farm is only doing full boxes next year so I'm going to have to either find a new farm or share my box with someone else. Boo hoo.

Those pumpkins were from the CSA too, by the way. When I went to light them on Halloween night they had white fur inside their tops, and the next morning when I went outside to take them to the yard debris bin Cory's had fallen off its ledge upside down, and both were all mushy and just about fell apart in my hands on the way to the bin. Good thing Halloween was when it was, or they wouldn't have made it!

Looks like a good haul for this late in the season. I can relate on the pumpkin thing... Still remember many years ago in California when I went to pick something up that had fallen on the floor next to our indoor jack-o-lantern. I started to brace myself against the jack using just a finger and it went THROUGH the pumpkin. eeew! :-)

Every time I pass your apartment, I notice your privacy screen. (That's how I know where you live! :-) ) What a wonderful idea and it really looks nice!
