The other day, I went searching for wording for the wedding invitations. I found one that I liked pretty well... one that didn't have any corny poetry at the beginning (and one that CERTAINLY didn't rhyme, yikes) and was pretty simple. And then when we were on our way to the beach, Cory told me his preliminary plans for what he wants the invitation to look like. We ended up getting in an argument, but only because he didn't believe me when I said I was interested in seeing a prototype. I'd never really thought about an invitation that wasn't like every other mail-order, throw-a-few-features-together-and-voila invitation, but I'm interested in seeing what his ideas are. I'm all for the out-of-the-ordinary stuff. And I don't need to worry about the wording anymore - that's a plus! :)

Bedtime! But first, a huge glass of water. I'm thirsty.

i say if you're marrying a designer, you should definitely go for out of the ordinary. I saw this one invitation somewhere that was one of those bride and groom cake toppers inside of this clear plastic inflatable shipping thing (sort of like a floatie for your fragile items)...with the words printed on the plastic. very bizarre. :)

Haha, that's funny. And tacky. :) If I had money to burn I might think of doing something large, like a big poster or something weird like that, but not with this budget! :)
