Blah blah blah. Friday days are my least favorites. Friday evenings are better, but when I'm at work on Fridays I REALLY want to go home.

Did jack shit on wedding plans last night. Sort of started a guest list this morning, which came out to slightly more than 100. Several of those 100 won't show up, though, which makes me feel better about inviting all of them. I don't know what I want to do about the receptionists, who are the only three that expect me to invite them when I don't especially want to. Especially Phyllis. I'm so mean.

Auntie Dayle called last night and I got to tell her about the engagement. She expected it, like everybody else. She said, "you know, you can't win. If nobody's expecting you to get married and you've only been dating for a little while, they get all mad that you aren't dating for longer. And if everybody DOES expect you to get married, they don't fawn over you and shriek and hug you and stuff." Very true. Dad must have expected it the most - he still hasn't contacted me. Should I even invite him? I guess I have a few months to figure that out, yet. I don't even know when I'm supposed to be sending invitations.

Tomorrow Grandma and my aunts and uncles and cousins are coming up from Salem to visit and to watch my uncle play tennis somewhere. My aunt Stacy, who just moved back from Australia, hasn't met Cory yet. I'm excited for them to meet.

I spent a little over an hour in the employee store today, hanging up and pricing shirts. Ooh, fun. We were talking about people, namely Cory, and Tovah (Nicoal's former roommate in Eugene) said "where'd you meet him?" I told her about that Barenaked Ladies concert, and she put two and two together and realized (or decided) that were it not for her, Cory and I wouldn't be engaged right now. She was proud of herself for giving up her ticket so I could go. It was amusing. :)

I found something that theknot.com is NOT good for: giving me an automated budget. I put in a generous amount ($1000 excluding rings - don't give me grief, this is going to be a CHEAP wedding, and I'm not paying horrible amounts for things I can make/grow myself) and here's what I get:

His ring: $10. Her ring: $10. Bride/groom hotel room: $9. Car/limo rental: $6. Wedding insurance: $9.50.

I think I'm going to have to do budgeting myself.

In other news, Remmy's going to the vet today. Silly dog. Cory'll probably write about it if anyone cares.

At work, I either have nothing to do, or almost too much to do. It's rather annoying.

Tonight I will clean the house, and perhaps we will go out to dinner. We may also watch Cider House Rules. It depends on how Remmy's visit to the vet went.

We just changed Remmy's dog food, because our vet friend told us lamb is bad for dogs' hearts. We bought her a rawhide bone to chew on at the same time, and she's been eating it as fast as she can because she thinks the kitten will eat it if she doesn't. We found out that Remmers has been using Trout's litterbox as a lunch box. Cory's had to take her out to poop every few hours, and he noticed she's been licking her belly. I hope they don't have to cut her open or anything!

And tomorrow we drive by the Shogren house, and maybe the Jenkins Estate, and then visit with family! I like weekends. (This week has gone by really fast - I think it's because "I'm glowing" (as my boss Lisa says) since Monday night. I've been in rather a good mood since then!)
