S&G 1

(no subject)

Nobody likes to post on the days that I have almost nothing to do at work except check LJ all day. Shame on you! Write me something interesting, will ya?

I just read The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. It was good. I wonder if reading it on my walk to and from work every day made it a little less touching. If anyone's ever read it, let me know what you thought!

I need to go to the library. It's just down the street - I have no excuse.

I dislike coming into shipping when it's been many weeks since the last time I've been in. Greg did the end-of-day command on the FedEx computer (which makes it do a printout of the day's activities, which we're supposed to give to the driver when he comes) when the driver got here, and it's been twenty five minutes and it still hasn't printed. The driver was kinda mad but I couldn't do anything but leave Greg a note about it. The annoying part is that if we start the end-of-day at 3:45 like we're instructed by the FedEx people, it STILL wouldn't get printed by the time the driver gets here at 4 (or before, sometimes).

That was such an exciting paragraph.

Tomorrow I go to Redmond! I'm excited, sorta. I'll get to do stuff with Mom. Haley moves into her dorm on Sunday so I won't get Mom all to myself, but that's OK. I think I'll take Remmy with me, too. She should enjoy that. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is not sleeping with Cory for the first night in over two months. :(
