S&G 1

Last night I dreamed that my cousin Donna was getting married (even though she got married a few months ago), and Ozzy Osbourne was going to officiate. I've never watched any of his shows and I know nothing about him. I talked to him "backstage" (it was in a house and we were in the hallway by the bedrooms) briefly, and then I watched. It was really bad, but I remember the worst thing was that his daughter (Kelly?) and I hated each other and kept being rude to each other. I was mad at her because she and the guys she was with kept talking and getting up and walking around, and even though it wasn't a typical wedding (Donna was wearing long overall shorts with huge black boots) I still thought she should be respectful.

Then when I got into my little red truck (which is Rachel's - and I was in the passenger seat even though I was driving, probably because I've never been in the driver's seat in her truck) to go home, I was trying to switch gears and realized that Kelly and her friends had pulled the stick out of the floor and moved around all the little hangy metal hooks that fit into whatever mechanism made the gears change the right way. And when I pulled the emergency brake, it just made the car go faster. I knew it was Kelly who sabotaged me because there was an ashtray on the dashboard, and I knew they smoked. (Why they'd put an ashtray in the car to collect ash when they were ruining my gearshift, I don't know.) So I went up to a house and knocked on the door, and the guy inside wouldn't let me use his phone until he saw me and decided I was cute so he offered to take me down to the police station so I could file a complaint and somehow get my truck fixed.

Weirdo weirdo Meg's a weirdo...

Remind me never to try to take a late lunch. I wasn't hungry at noon, so I figured I'd eat closer to 1:30. 4 tubs of mail came at 1:30, it took three of us an hour to go through, and took me another 45 minutes to go on a mail run, even with someone else helping me. I sweated a lot this afternoon. :)

And I got an answer to my PR question. I emailed Nena, my PR supervisor, about whether I should try to wait and see if I can get an admin position in that department once the new manager is hired. She said "I'm going to be selfish and say yes." So I'm going to be waiting for a while longer. We'll see how things go.
