OK, so I'm the dorkiest person in the world. Cory and I were watching a Victor Borge tribute on OPB, and all of a sudden some people with pots and pans were clanking outside, and we looked at the clock and realized it was 12:02. We missed New Year's! Whoops.

Cory and I went to the beach today. I haven't had that much fun at the beach in a long time. It was REALLY windy - the gusts tried to knock us off our feet. Every time there was a gust, it made me giggle. We drove around and looked at the big waves, and then went to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. There were like two people working in the actual processing area, so it was a boring tour. But I got some curds, and Cory got some fudge so it was all good. Remmy had fun playing on the beach, but she was very ready to eat dinner when we got home - she was really hungry.

I kept thinking today was Saturday. Tomorrow morning, when it's "Sunday," I'm not going to want to get up for work.

Oh yeah, and I'm applying for another job within the company. If I get it, I'll go up three pay grades.

The other day, I went searching for wording for the wedding invitations. I found one that I liked pretty well... one that didn't have any corny poetry at the beginning (and one that CERTAINLY didn't rhyme, yikes) and was pretty simple. And then when we were on our way to the beach, Cory told me his preliminary plans for what he wants the invitation to look like. We ended up getting in an argument, but only because he didn't believe me when I said I was interested in seeing a prototype. I'd never really thought about an invitation that wasn't like every other mail-order, throw-a-few-features-together-and-voila invitation, but I'm interested in seeing what his ideas are. I'm all for the out-of-the-ordinary stuff. And I don't need to worry about the wording anymore - that's a plus! :)

Bedtime! But first, a huge glass of water. I'm thirsty.
