The best thing about 3-day weekends is that not only do you have a 3-day weekend, but then the next week is short and you get another weekend sooner!
I can finally use all of my body parts again. Boy that weeding killed me. I think I bruised my palm - it still hurts to put much pressure on it.
But I did more damage to the weeds than they did to me - ( Collapse )
Yesterday we relaxed most of the day. We walked downtown to Starbucks and then the Book Bin, where I looked at a yoga mag and Cory looked at some other stuff. Then we ran out to Petco for some more food and doggie bags, and when we got back
solteronita was already in town so I was in the middle of vacuuming when she got here. We chatted and then walked to Pita Pit, which was closed; so we walked to McMens and had lunch there. I had a porter. It was yummy.
After Nicoal left, we hung out for awhile, and then watched The Italian Job (the original). It wasn't all that great, but it ended in a cliffhanger that Cory said was because they were planning on making another one right away, but because this one did so badly at the box office they weren't able to make the sequel. Heh.
(We also watched Team America and Mad Max, on Sunday.)
All in all, it was a nice weekend. We got a lot of relaxing done, and a nice trip to the beach. Now all I have to do is not go crazy at work, where I will have a very small amount of actual work to do. Whoopee.
And now I shall leave you with a pic of us at Depoe Bay. I posted it in
dstroy's journal already so a few of you have seen it.

(Hurry up and GROW, stupid hair!)
