Just got back from Mom's house. It was funny - we got there, and I came around the corner into the kitchen and she had all sorts of glass dishes and plates and bowls all set out to show me as possibilities for the wedding reception. That's pretty much all we talked about the entire weekend. We looked at the color palette (it looks gorgeous! Yellows and pinkish and bluish/purple and greys) and I showed her what I've been doing and I tried on the bodice and love it (love it love it love it)... and we had beef stew for dinner and had to sleep in separate beds since we're not married yet (heh) and then we got up and went to Wal-Mart to get fabric for the nine-patch quilt I'm going to make for the pie table. I still need a grey fabric - they didn't have one that looked right. I'll go to JoAnn tomorrow or the day after.

Then we came home. It was snowy on the mountain, but the roads weren't slippery at all. It was so pretty - the snow on the trees... ahhh...

Oh yes, and we took a nice walk to the junkyard, which is almost all cleaned up now, and I found a big heavy chain with a big heavy hook on one end. I brought it home, even though I have no idea what to do with it. Any ideas? :)
