Is there such a thing as suncontacts? Ya know, like dark contacts so you don't have to squint when you're outside in the summertime, and you don't have to worry about your sunglasses getting knocked off your head.

The contacts I wear do offer some protection from the sun, I don't know how it works because they don't look any darker, but my eyes are extremely sensitive so I still wear sunglasses usually. I do notice a difference with them, just not as much as someone with my eyes would need.

Re:
Are your eyes blue? I heard that people with blue eyes are more sensitive to light.

Re:
No, they're brown, but they're extremely nearsighted.

Re:
Hmm, I didn't know being nearsighted affected the sensitivity. I'm nearsighted, and sensitive to light, but only slightly in each case.

Re:
I'm not sure that that's what causes it, maybe it's a separate eye problem. I've always assumed they were related though.

you know, i was just thinking that yesterday. my problem is that sunglasses give me a headache, but my eyes are to sensitive to light to go without them. I was wishing for tinted contacts. :)
