I must get up at 5am to take my sedatives. I must take penecillan at 6am. Cory must drive me to NE Portland, and they willl drill my wisdom teeth to break them up, and pull them out, leaving me with bloody holes. I must come back and pack and repack the holes. I must inadvertantly let bits of pudding and yogurt and jell-o get into said holes, and I must flush them out with water. I will most likely have stitches.

The moral of this story is I am really nervous.

Awww poor Meg! I've had a constant fight with my dentist to not discuss ripping my smart teeth out but she keeps pushing me to do it. I just ain't ready, nosireeeee.

I will be thinking painfree, fast hole healing thoughts for you.

It's not too late to back out! Ruuuuuuun run away! ;)

Oh, I know I could back out, but they'd just want them later too... might as well get it over now, when my roots aren't horribly long and my bottoms aren't quite pushing my nice straight teeth into a crooked oblivion.

it'll be fine! Cory'll spoil you! I know you'll do well :-)
I had my wisdom teeth out in NE portland too, I wonder if we had the same surgeon??

Hmm, that would be weird. Did you have Kaiser?

I know how nerve wracking it can be. While you're in the chair, try to focus on your breath. When your thoughts wander off to the drill in your mouht, bring them back to your breath again.

Luckily I was so loopy that I dreamed during most of it and it was hard to focus on what was going on.
