This morning we had a baby shower for Randy, the delivery driver who carts stuff back and forth among HQ, our distribution center, and the Portland-area outlets (and the Flagship store). He got married last year and he and his wife are expecting their first baby, a little girl named Adriana. I crocheted a blanket for her, which ended up being two different colors because I used yarn from two dye lots, so I'm going to try again. (Still pissed about that, too. Argh.) And I finished the bear in a bunny suit this morning. That was close. He turned out rather interesting, but he was cute. His arms and legs were skewed funny, and his eyes were huge but they're the only eyes I could find, and really they don't look too bad.

Anyway, I ran upstairs to a conference room and we waited for Randy to get there. The ladies from Retail Admin got a cake that said "Randy's little delivery" on it. Heh. When Randy came in, he started getting all teary. It was so cute. And he was so nervous and embarrassed during the entire thing that he kept having to wipe the sweat off his forhead. :D I've always liked Randy, but seeing him like that made me like him even more. He's an awesome guy. I hope people at Cory's work will throw him a baby shower when it's our turn!

Cory found a place to turn in his resume - Spirit Mountain. We need to run to ArtMedia so he can get some nice paper to print the resume on, and he's going to send it in. Wouldn't it be nice to live at the beach? Ahh.
