We all (as in everybody at HQ) got a free lunch today - BBQ burgers, a bag of chips, a can of pop, and a cookie. This cookie doesn't taste very good, but I'm sitting here staring at my computer monitor and eating it mindlessly anyway.

They are quite nice, I agree. Too bad my husband is not a BBQ-er. :(

Who said there's no such thing as a free lunch? :D

Well, it certainly wasn't me!

Though, you could be nitpicky and say it wasn't free for them!

I think I heard that someone is deprived of BBQ?
Joelseph can attest to this, but I kickass at BBQing. Will have to cook for you when I come up there! Even if it is in the middle of winter and I have to BBQ in a down-jacket! Ribs, chicken, steak, (what's your edible animal of choice?)

Mmm. I like ALL edible animals. You and Joel should come back up here to visit! We have a (very small) bbq that misses being able to taste yummy animal drippings.

Isn't it funny that my lj pic is of your leg/lap and Cory's dog? Just one of those thing that make you go hmmmmmm..... (looking intellectual at the moment even though no one can see me - I was all by myself......No one was looking........I was thinking of you.........oh yeah did I mention..........I was all by myself!)

All edible animals! Cool! And I have never been to Oregon, and you have never tasted my BBQ - it shall be a meeting of firsts! Looking forward to a little time away from California - just have to squeeze it into my work schedule, my housesitting schedule, and my budget. I think we should be taking a trip up there within the next two months - I will make sure that we give you guys plenty of warning (how's "Meggie? It's Jules. Yeah, ummmm... We're in your parking lot. Can we come up?) :-)

Exactly! Something that can apply to many situations!
