I thought I was going to be bored today. I forgot to take Mrs. Boyle's 80th birthday into consideration.

Today, Arnold Schwartzenegger should be calling here to wish her a happy birthday.

Today, she will be getting multiple flower arrangements and gifts, which I will be delivering to her office when they come in.

Today, the media will be covering her party, which starts at about 2:30. I'm cutting cake. I ought to change if I'm going to be on TV. Various other important people will be stopping by. I wonder if they're going to be important to me or just to her. 'Cause it'd be pretty neat if someone famous came in.

Apparently, she's got a cake coming in from a bakery in Hood River, too. They're coming at about noon and taking up a conference room to assemble the thing. Apparently it takes TWO HOURS to assemble. Yikes. This is why I had pie at my wedding reception. :D

So it'll be busy today, I guess, after all.

I wonder what I should change into.

She's the "matriarch" of Columbia Sportswear. Her son is the CEO and she's the chairman of the board. If you've seen any of those Columbia commercials, you've seen Mrs. Boyle.
