So this girl (Elena) in the outerwear department did an audition on the radio station Z100 to see if she could make it into finalists for a $50,000 recording contract. I think there were only like nine people who sang live on the radio, and she was one of them. She's now a finalist, which is great. But here's the bad part: her friend in Sportswear sent probably five emails telling us to call Z100 and vote, and then when Elena won, she emailed us and attached the audio file of the audition. And then after that, she PLAYED IT OVER THE INTERCOM. It was long. EVERYBODY was forced to listen to it. I was even about to play it on my computer but was waiting for Donnita to get off the phone before I did. It was really really rude. I guess Lisa was in the Sportswear area when it played, and she was trying to figure out who was doing it to stop them, and everybody was trying to cover it up. She found out as soon as it was over, though. I wonder if anythin's going to be done about it.

how cool for her... and yet, annoying at the same time.

Yeah, I think it's great, and she did a really good job singing, but yeah, how annoying of her friends. And unprofessional to boot. Even the CEO would have heard it if he was in (which I don't know).
