This morning we woke up early and rented the carpet steam cleaner. Cory did the bedding at the laundromat and I worked. (I felt really bad that I couldn't help him with any of the house stuff.) We did the edges of the bedroom and then realized that we'd been doing it without the vacuum on, so we redid them. And they're still wet, 13-and-a-half hours later. Just parts of them, I mean. So we're waiting for those to be dry before we put anything besides the bed in there, since obviously most of the stuff we have in there belong on the edges of the room. I sprayed Lysol on the walls and doorknobs and on the still-wet parts of the floor, so now it smells like fresh clean laundry in there. And now we're waiting for the pillows to finish drying and we will go to sleep.

Tomorrow we will get up early and do it again, but this time we'll do one side of the living room. Then we'll rent the machine for another day, go to work, and then come home to do the other side of the living room.

Moving furniture is a pain. That is all.
