It looks like you had a great time this Thanksgiving! Which recipe did you end up using for that PB pie, MeganMommy? Looks delicious.

You know what's weird? Seeing people I "know" (more or less, I mean, it has been more than a year since I started reading you and Cory-- I began a few months before your wedding and I've since congratulated you on your first anniversary) in regular actions. Like, pictures that aren't posed. People doing things that they normally do outside of their LiveJournal lives. Few of my real-life friends have digital cameras that they use to document everyday activities, so the everyday stuff we actually do is ultimately forgotten in favour of brilliantly coloured and highly PhotoShopped museum-quality creations that, although beautiful, rarely accurately represent our collective realities.

I very much like seeing Cory put together puzzles and Grandma helping Haley pack up food to-go because those photos give a sort of intangible depth to you guys that I think a lot of people either hesitate or forget to provide to an audience that would probably be very interested.

Anyway, I prattle on. Good for you for posting honest pictures.

Hugs and such,

Re: :-)
I've always liked photojournal-type stuff, and your going-to-the-store entry from awhile back was great. I might have to do something like that sometime. :) I like candid photos because that's what we're really like. We don't pose at each other all day, so I try not to pose too much (unless it's blatant, like in the middle of a dance move or something) in everyday pictures.
