I live in a little, ugly basement apartment, and can't paint or do much of anything else. However, one wall was already full of nail holes, so I figured why not put 33 more in there? So I did.

Here's a picture of it from far away so you can see how crooked they are. I shall fix that at another time.

I had a box full of framed prints that fit on my walls in my former (larger) apartment, and they've been put away for a year. They're pictures of family members, a few pencil drawings my sister made, and a series of repro WPA National Park posters. (We also have 6 of the large ones - we bought them at the national parks we visited on our honeymoon in 2003.)

Closeup of a few of 'em. Backstory on the wedding one: my grandmother has a picture of her mother in a framed shoebox with her veil around it. So I made my own - my veil, our vows and the cord we used for our handfasting is in the shadowbox.

It's still a work in progress, but I think it really looks good for an unpaint-able wall.

Yeah, it took way longer than it should have. I should have just started in the middle and worked out, and then not cared about what the edges looked like.
