This "camp song" (it's a super-oldie too) is stuck in my head:

Today while the blossoms still cling to the vine
I'll eat your strawberries, I'll drink your sweet wine
A million tomorrows shall all pass away
'Ere I forget all the joy that is mine today

I think it's because I was thinking about what I need to do today.
Patti's kids are here, and right now they're watching a movie, which means they're not trying to get into my desk. I was sitting here writing something and the boy snuck up behind me and opened my drawer really quietly so he could take my Post-It flags. Yeesh.

There are no good movies in the theater so tonight will be another stay-at-home night. I'll probably start scanning more pictures so Cory can color-correct them and get them up on the web someday soon.

Then tomorrow is Les Schwab for front brakes. And maybe back ones too. Makes me mad that we just replaced our brakes at Midas a year ago and they're already down to almost nothing.

I love how it's Friday already!

I'll be a dandy and you'll be a rover. Or something like that.

Something about clover too. 'Cause it rhymes with rover.

Speaking of that, did you ever get your hands on one of the songbooks? Now I have all the words but I don't remember the tunes. :D

I also have the Tadger Tales book that Rach used to read to the kids.

I have a song book from when I went to Camp Namanu in fourth grade. Somewhere.

Oh yeah, I forgot that you went there.

I miss it sometimes. I think about going up in the stargazer thing, and I think about being sick with Rachel and lying in bed all day one day, delirious and laughing at everything because we were so sick; and then steaming ourselves with eucalyptus so our noses would clear up.

And I miss the chuck wagon thing, and going to Balagan all alone, and hangin' with the CITs... good times.

Oh yeah, and one time I snuck from one side of camp all the way to the dining hall, but I can't remember why. I crawled on my belly all the way across the field. Heh.
