Running, week 2

Week 2 is alternating 90 seconds running, 2 minutes walking. I did 30 minutes instead of 20, including my few-minute walk home; and about halfway through my calves started hurting but I ran through it and they felt better. I can tell they're going to be sore though.

My least favorite part of running is how warm it is in my house when I get back. I'm totally dripping.

As soon as I walk in the door, I strip down to my shorts and sports bra and sit in front of the fan with a cold glass of water.

I should do that too. It's so hot in my apartment lately because of how hot it is outside - it never cools down in here.

Same here. But I'm sure soon enough I'll be whining about how cold I am.

The thing about cold that makes it so much better, though, is that you can bundle up. You can't un-bundle to get cooler in the summer.

It's supposed to be 81 today - let's hope it is, because I left the windows open this morning accidentally.
