I just filled the vaccuum bag with a ton of spiders. And their webs. And the carcasses of dozens of little fruit flies and a few big moths and lots of dust. And lots of spiders. I had to vaccuum the ceiling too, and I had to be careful that the spiders didn't drop on me. The webs were really visible because of all the carcasses all over them. So now from the front door down to my apartment door is all clean and free of webs. I took the vaccuum outside so I could take the bag out and throw it away, even though it wasn't completely full. There was no way I was going to leave it in the apartment with all those spiders in there, just dying to come out and eat me up for ruining their egg sacs and houses.

We used to get earwigs when we lived in California. I hadn't thought about it much, but we really don't get them here. We usually just have a few spiders, moths, flies, and those darn roaches.
The roaches just make my legs weak. I cannot get over it. Fortunately, they are slow and easy to catch.

The only time I got freaked out by one was in Portland, when I woke up and opened my eyes and there was one on my ceiling right above my head. Eek!
