And guess who we had to call the police on last night because they were playing their music louder than on Friday night and, again, didn't answer their door? The cop had to find something to throw at the upstairs window to get the kid's attention this time.

I'm looking at classified ads this morning. I hate hate hate that we've lived here for two months and everything about the place screams "get out of here!"

It seems like it is better to leave than to suffer any longer.

I agree- though I think I still need to reevaluate once I'm not ready to go to bed and can't because of the punk next door. Part of me still hopes that he'll learn his lesson and not play his music at night. The other part of me just wants to find a house in the middle of 20 acres that's surrounded by noise-proof walls that's cheap enough for me to rent. :)

And one that has no mold and some working door handles :-)
Oh, and double paned windows!
I'm sure you can find a better spot and what with your raise maybe that will be easier?

It will be easier now, with the raise, that's for sure. We still don't want to spend a ton of money, but last night Cory said "I don't want to share a wall with anyone again!" so I'm thinking our house will have to be on the low end as far as rent goes. Which may not be so good, but we'll see.
