Try sketching a few faces out on graph paper first. It will help you get a better idea of where it will go ahead of time.

I think I'll use some bits of yarn on her face to figure out where her eyes need to go. I'm not sure if I'm going to make a mouth at all, but we'll see.

she's adorable! I love her hair.. the colors and texture are fabulous!

Cannot wait to see her facial features.

Wish I could knit.

I don't knit much either... :P Someday when we get together I'll teach you to crochet though! Once you know how to do the stitches you can do anything!

That's crochet? It's so tight and 'knit like'!

I can single crochet and double crochet, but always lose count of my stitches. Everything I make is circular as a result! :-)

Well, you're on to something at least, 'cause I know a lot of beginners who have no idea how to make anything circular! :D Really, though, if you lose count you can just count the stitches again, silly.
