I got about five inches chopped off the back of my hair. Which means my hair is puffier now because it's got less weight and because when I asked for a couple more inches off she only cut a few inches off my longest layer and not the other layers. I miss Portland, where I could get a really good haircut that wasn't from someone who's like 20. Heh.

The gal that did my most recent cut had prison tatoos (including a teardrop under her eye). I think I'll take the 20 yr old crowd, anyday! :-)

Ha! Where'd you go? I went to Hair Body & Sole on 9th and Walnut.

I am the current queen of puffy big hair.

I wish I would remember that when my hair is short, it is huge and curly.

I feel ya.

I usually cut my own hair, as a result of bad haircuts and being a cheapass. However, what I discovered when I did go to other places, that getting a stylist who has naturally curly hair herself is *key* to getting a good cut. People without poof just don't get how curly hair responds to cutting.

I always tend to look at my stylists' hair when I go, to see if they look like they care about how it's cut and styled. This one had a perm with sausage bangs. I thought that went out fifteen years ago!
