On Sunday morning as we got ready to leave Seattle bound for home, we stopped downtown at 5:30 for some coffee. Outside the Starbucks was a homeless guy on a bench, who asked me for some money. I told him sorry. He asked if I'd buy him some coffee, and I said I'd see what I could do.

I was feeling generous, so I bought him a coffee and an egg salad sandwich as well. I took them out to him and gave them to him. He said, "Thanks! Oh wait, is this egg? Could you get me a different kind?" I said sorry but I didn't have any more money, so he got up and went inside to try to trade it for another sandwich while I headed for the car.
